Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach at Adaptive Health Integrations. On October 17, 2021, Adaptive Health Integrations discovered that an unauthorized cybercriminal had infiltrated its network and gained unauthorized access to certain confidential files. Following a forensic investigation, Adaptive Health Integrations determined that cybercriminals potentially accessed the personal identifiable information of 510,574 individuals. While Adaptive Health Integrations has yet to disclose exactly what information was compromised, it is likely that protected health information and Social Security numbers were among the information potentially accessed in the data breach.
As a result of the Adaptive Health Integrations data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly sensitive information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
Murphy Law Firm is evaluating legal options, including a potential class action lawsuit, to recover damages for individuals who were affected by the data breach.
