Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach at Pingora Loan Servicing, LLC (“Pingora”). In December 2021, Pingora discovered that cybercriminals had infiltrated Pingora’s network and gained unauthorized access to its file servers. Following a forensic investigation, Pingora determined that from October 27, 2021 to December 7, 2021, cybercriminals successfully accessed confidential files containing the personal information of Pingora’s customers. As a result of the Pingora data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly sensitive information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud. Murphy Law Firm is evaluating legal options, including a potential class action lawsuit, to recover damages for individuals who were affected by the data breach.
