Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach at Quality Temporary Services, Inc. (“Quality Staffing”). In October 2021, Quality Staffing discovered suspicious activity on its network. Following a forensic investigation, Quality Staffing determined that between September 28, 2021 and October 13, 2021, cybercriminals gained unauthorized access to certain confidential files stored on Quality Staffing’s systems. Through its investigation, Quality Staffing confirmed that cybercriminals accessed or acquired the personal identifiable information of approximately 81,355 individuals during the data breach. The personal information acquired by cybercriminals includes:
Names
Social Security numbers
Financial account information
Payment card numbers
Medical information
Driver’s license numbers
Health insurance information
Passport information
Addresses
As a result of the Quality Staffing’s data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly sensitive information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
Murphy Law Firm is evaluating legal options, including a potential class action lawsuit, to recover damages for individuals who were affected by the data breach.
