Utah Imaging Associates, Inc.

Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of patients whose information was potentially compromised in the Utah Imaging Associates, Inc. (“Utah Imaging”) data breach. On or about September 4, 2021, Utah Imaging discovered suspicious activity on its computer systems. A forensic investigation later confirmed that cybercriminals had infiltrated Utah Imaging’s computer systems and gained unauthorized access to certain files containing patient information. The investigation concluded that the cybercriminals may have accessed the personal information of nearly 600,000 current and former patients, including their:

  • Names
  • Addresses
  • Dates of birth
  • Social Security Numbers
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Other sensitive information

As a result of this data breach, these individuals’ personally identifiable information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who will place the information for sale on the dark web or who are using the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
