Maternal and Family Health Services

Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach involving Maternal & Family Health Services Hospital. On April 4, 2022, Maternal & Family Health Services Hospital became aware of an unauthorized intrusion on its computer network. Based on a forensic investigation, Maternal & Family Health Services Hospital confirmed that between August 21, 2021 and April 4, 2022, cybercriminals gained unauthorized access to confidential digital files containing sensitive personal information of at least 461,070 individuals. The personal information accessed by cybercriminals, includes:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Financial account information
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Driver’s license numbers
  • Dates of birth
  • Addresses

As a result of the data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly confidential information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.

Murphy Law Firm is evaluating legal options, including a potential class action lawsuit, to recover damages for individuals who were affected by the data breach.
